Mission

Based in New York and CT, you will be in a customer facing position with a focus on selling Agio Services and Solutions to the Hedge Funds with an AUM of $5.0B or more.

Duties

• Actively prospect new service opportunities within the assigned hedge fund vertical
• Develop relationships with key decision makers and influencers at all levels with the organizations
• Present Agio Services and Solutions to all levels of the organization and positioning the solution appropriately to each audience
• Create proposals, negotiate and close contracts with prospects
• Work closely with implementation and support teams to ensure client satisfaction
• Create and maintain a sales funnel including monthly prospecting reports and forecasts
• Increase Agio’s market share in the franchise hedge fund vertical

Responsibilities

As a Business Development Representative, you will report to the Managing Director,

Business Development, working closely to support Agio corporate business development

goals.

You will research, prospect and identify targets for Agio Solutions and Services, forging

relationships with key individuals at all levels.

You will prepare sales proposals that speak in appropriate manners to all key influencers

and decision-makers within the organization, enabling you to close business on behalf of

Agio.

You will work to establish a sales pipeline, reporting weekly on your progress.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and/or have associated experience in the field (minimum of 3 years experience)
• A minimum of 3 years sales experience
• Specific experience selling to financial services companies;
• Exceptional written and verbal skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport building, listening and
• questioning skills
• A proven track record and measured success in sales and account management
• Ability to understand the business challenges the prospect faces and effectively position Agio Solutions and Services to meet those needs

Mission

Reporting to the Director of Finance and based in the operational headquarters of Agio in Norman, Oklahoma, you’ll be a member of the Finance & Administration Team working with both internal and external clients throughout the world.

Objectives – Year One

• Gain a detailed understanding of Agio’s financial and accounting operations
• Identify and implement improved methods to increase financial transparency for decision makers
• Identify and implement improved methods to increase efficiency around current accounting and financial processes and procedures
• Work to become self-directed in daily activities
• Develop professional relationships with employees outside the Finance & Administration team at varying levels in the company

Responsibilities

• Administer invoices for market data and research invoices as needed
• Maintain inventory in the firm’s market data inventory management database (FITS)
• Provide close working support to ARDS’ Business Analysts
• Support monthly close processes
• Oversee finance and administration relationship with vendors
• Seek ways to automate and streamline market data processes, especially with regard to market data platforms and exchange entitlements
• Oversight of soft dollar and sales/use tax policy and administration
• Assist with budgets, ad hoc reporting, and special projects

Requirements

Applicants must possess:

• Strong analytical ability, familiarity with data analysis and database tools important
• Accounting or Finance degree preferred, but will consider other educational backgrounds/equivalent work experience.  Some exposure to Information Technology (IT) in an academic setting is helpful.
• 1-3 years experience in an accounting, finance, IT or market data environment, will consider recent graduate
• Facility with Excel essential, exposure to Access, SQL, and other database tools desirable
• Market data experience, with exposure to the soft dollar process desirable, but other financial / IT experience will be considered
• Experience with market data inventory management tools (FITS or similar) helpful
• Detail oriented, strong team player, genuine interest in market data in an asset management environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Internal (Agio) Solutions:  Salesforce.com is Agio’s single pane of glass.  It’s the hub for all information at Agio.  Responsibilities include administering Salesforce.com instance, developing improved security controls and reporting, developing internal custom applications and workflows using Apex and the force.com platform, and developing and integrating with 3rd party /client applications

• External (Client) Solutions: Develop standalone software applications for our clients and integrate them into Agio’s Salesforce.com instance. Applications would be build using C#, .net, web services, and SQL databases
• You will work on multiple projects at the same time with aggressive timelines
• You will be a master of multi-tasking, using your abilities to prioritize and work effectively on multiple projects throughout the day
• You will clearly communicate with all stakeholders throughout the process
• You will develop and maintain C# applications, complex stored procedures and triggers, adobe flex applications, and Salesforce.com Apex classes

Requirements
Applicants must possess:

• Three (3) years experience developing multi-tiered applications
• Experience using Visual Studio
• Strong JavaScript programming experience
• Strong C# programming experience
• Strong SQL skills

The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for conducting quality control activities for the IT Services Department. The QA Analyst will analyze application systems, create test case documentation, and execute plans. The successful candidate will have proven experience ensuring that complex software application is performing as designed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans, manual and automated test scripts for user interface, functionality, system and “ad-hoc testing”
• Execute regression tests, functional tests, and data tests
• Document quality assurance practices
• Provide analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas
• Ensure that testing activities will allow applications to meet business requirements and system goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve system issues
• Ensure that any new software integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications
