- Agio Technology is currently seeking a Junior to Mid Level SQL Server DBA for an opportunity in Norman Oklahoma.

- The Junior DBA will join a team of Senior DBA’s to learn and grow in the SQL Server environment.
The SQL Server DBA is responsible for the support and development of the SQL Server environment for our financial industry clientele. Provide database administration support for SQL Server (2005 through 2008) and database development support in Transact SQL (TSQL). Gather and analyze business requirements and develop data architecture strategies to manage data across the organizations. Troubleshoot performance issues and proactively optimize for database performance. You will be part of high level team that provides 24X7 support for our clientele.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Perform database administration tasks, including creating and configuring databases, administering policies and standards, and replication, clustering and disaster recovery.
- Provide database development support using TSQL, including trouble shooting and monitoring.
- Work with database queries, triggers and stored procedures, including those of a complex nature.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science preferred
- 1 + experience or equivalent proficiency level in SQL Server database administration and support
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
